Key Responsibilities
Supporting Patients and Healthcare Providers
- Provide exceptional customer care by responding to inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacists, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of prescription-related issues.
- Assist with prescription processing, including refills, prior authorizations, and insurance verifications, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Resolve issues related to medication orders, dosage instructions, and delivery timelines, collaborating with pharmacists and other team members to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Utilize pharmacy software to accurately manage patient records and prescription details, adhering to federal and state regulations regarding the handling of prescription medications.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines, ensuring the secure handling of sensitive patient information.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure patient safety and satisfaction, contributing to a positive patient experience.
Technical and Administrative Responsibilities
- Utilize pharmacy management systems and software to manage patient records, prescriptions, and other relevant information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and arenaflex policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacists, providing clear and concise information regarding prescription status and other relevant details.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices, regulations, and technologies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in pharmacy practices and terminology.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, medications, and relevant regulations, ensuring accurate and compliant service delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacists.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a remote work environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
