Experienced Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist for Remote Patient Support and Clinical Services

As a remote worker, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of prescriptions, while providing exceptional service to our clients, including product manufacturers, physicians, patients, and internal stakeholders. Position Summary We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist to work under the general supervision of our Supervisor and Pharmacy Manager. As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to the profitability of blithequark by maintaining high levels of personal productivity and efficient use of resources. Your primary focus will be on prescription intake, data entry, and triage, ensuring seamless communication with pharmacists, reimbursement specialists, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain effective systems to support the timely release of accurate information to diverse clients. Manage prescription intake for non-dispensing pharmacy prescriptions across multiple prescription brands. Log information into the appropriate pharmacy database and triage prescriptions to the correct dispensing pharmacy. Provide pharmacist support related to prescription processing as needed. Assist with inbound call volume as required. Collaborate with pharmacists and other pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow. Run eligibility checks and test claims as needed for patient prescriptions. Distribute prescriptions to the appropriate Reimbursement Specialists and stakeholders. Cultivate and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with associates and management. Comply with all program policies and procedures. Work independently with minimal supervision, exercising judgment within defined standard operating procedures. Perform related duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications Experience and Education We're looking for candidates with: A minimum of 3+ years of professional work experience as a Pharmacy Technician. A Pharmacy Technician license (National license preferred). A Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Texas (if not currently licensed, ability to obtain licensure). Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities To succeed in this role, you'll need: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of pharmacy regulations for prescription processing. Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing. Strong computer application skills. Excellent interpersonal and team player skills. Strong organizational and time management skills.
