About the Role: Personal Trainers Cheyenne YMCA (WY) As a Personal Trainer at the YMCA of Northern Colorado in Cheyenne, WY, you will play a pivotal role in helping members achieve their health and fitness goals. You will be responsible for designing and leading personalized fitness programs, providing expert guidance, and supporting clients in a safe and motivating environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement personalized training programs for individuals and small groups, catering to diverse fitness levels and goals. Provide expert guidance, motivation, and support to clients, ensuring they achieve their health and wellness objectives. Conduct health history questionnaires, fitness assessments, and other pre-participation documentation to create safe and effective exercise programs. Ensure all training sessions are conducted safely, and respond to and report any accidents or incidents promptly. Maintain accurate records and track client progress, adjusting programs as needed. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes wellness, engagement, and member satisfaction. Essential Qualifications and Certifications: To be considered for this role, you must have: A nationally accredited Personal Training Certification from a recognized organization such as ACSM, ACE, NSCA, or NASM. CPR/PR, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen certifications within 30 days of hire. Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills. A passion for fitness and a commitment to helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. Preferred Qualifications: While not mandatory, the following qualifications can enhance your application: Experience working with diverse populations, including varying ages and fitness levels. Knowledge of group fitness classes and the ability to lead dynamic and engaging sessions. A degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
