About the People Technology Team
Our People Technology team is responsible for building the tools, technology, and analytics that support our business decisions and drive our growth. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing solutions that meet the HR needs of DoorDash, working closely with government leaders to drive key business choices. Your contributions will help shape the future of our company as we continue to push the boundaries of what is possible.

Job Responsibilities
As a People Technology Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:

Designing and implementing solutions that meet the HR needs of DoorDash, working functionally across the people team and the business to understand requirements, develop technical solutions, and provide guidance throughout the implementation process
Leading projects, optimizing technology solutions, and helping to build and deliver the overall People Tech and Analytics roadmap
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify underlying problems or business issues and turning those problems into solutions
Rigorously documenting system and reporting requirements and configuration to build operational excellence with cross-functional stakeholders
Creating, maintaining, and executing testing plans and rollout strategies with company-wide impact
Ensuring data integrity by identifying opportunities to improve, working closely with cross-functional teams
Providing technical guidance to companies and internal stakeholders during the implementation process
Developing and maintaining technical documentation and architectural diagrams of current and future systems
Staying up-to-date with the latest people technology and business trends
Leading the identification and implementation of new opportunities for automation, self-service, and process improvement, working collaboratively to implement them
Driving the design process, including conducting technical presentations and demonstrations


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

4+ years of experience as a program/product manager or solutions architect on a technical team, preferably in the People space
A BA/BS degree in quantitative, business, or related technical fields, or equivalent work experience
Familiarity with people data, including privacy and other regulatory considerations
Deep knowledge of working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and complex data pipelines connecting a myriad of systems
Experience leveraging people technology systems (Workday, Greenhouse, etc.) to solve problems
Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills


Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

Working familiarity with AWS, Databricks, and similar technologies
Experience with automation, self-service, and process improvement
Knowledge of technical architecture and design principles
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
