Job Overview
As a People Technology Reporting Analyst at ArcBest, you will play a critical role in leading projects and providing requested data in reports and dashboards to our management and corporate personnel. Your primary responsibility will be to design, test, and deploy reports and dashboards that meet the needs and requirements of our stakeholders. You will also be responsible for maintaining and broadening your expertise in functional areas, researching and analyzing data, and promoting upgrades and creativity to design reports and dashboards for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead projects for reporting and dashboards based on management requests
Partner in the evaluation, selection, planning, design, implementation, training, and support for Workday (and other vendors as needed) tools that relate to reports and calculated fields for the team
Collaborate closely with internal HR, Payroll, Benefits, Learning, Time Tracking, and Talent teams on data analysis
Develop and maintain simple to complex reports and visualizations, including but not limited to advanced, matrix, minimum composite reports, and dashboards using Workday Report Writer, Worksheets, and Discovery Boards, as well as other tools
Review Workday releases and identify opportunities to leverage new features and capabilities to enhance and support business goals for reporting, calculated fields, and dashboards
Use ServiceNow to prioritize and respond to case questions by engaging with functional leaders to ensure document requirements are met in a timely fashion
Participate in Agile Team planning sessions to plan the roadmap and identify cross-team dependencies
Maintain awareness of current trends in Workday Reporting, proactively monitor best practices, and make recommendations to report writers through expertise gained in Community, Workday Slack, and the user sharing action group
Be compliant and informed about the data that is allowed to be seen by employees
Provide guidance and training to our end-users who can execute the reports and schedule the desired reports to those who do not have access
Perform ad-hoc reporting tasks as needed
Other responsibilities and tasks, as assigned


Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, etc.
Minimum one year's HCM Reporting experience
Minimum one year's Workday Report Writing experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL Script, VBA, Power BI, or other BI tools and other statistical analysis tools
Able to self-research and develop skills as new capabilities are introduced
Ability to work independently as well as a team player in a highly collaborative environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a logistics or supply chain industry
Knowledge of Workday Report Writer, Worksheets, and Discovery Boards
Familiarity with Agile Team planning sessions and ServiceNow
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
