Job Overview As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining a variety of data in our systems. Your primary focus will be to ensure data integrity, manage large volumes of information, and perform data cleanup tasks as needed. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision. You will be an integral part of our administrative team, working closely with other departments to understand and support data needs. Key Responsibilities Accurately input and update data in various systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Verify data for accuracy and completeness, correcting any discrepancies and performing data quality checks as needed. Maintain organized records and manage database systems, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information. Perform data cleanup activities, handling and organizing physical and digital documents, and generating data reports as required. Collaborate with other departments to understand and support data needs, providing excellent customer service and communication skills. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, adhering to blithequark's data protection policies and procedures. Manage time effectively to meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks and working efficiently to achieve goals. Suggest improvements to data entry and management processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of our administrative systems. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; some college experience or recent graduates are welcome to apply. 0-2+ years of experience in data entry or a related field, with a strong understanding of data management principles and practices. Previous experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or ADP, is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with experience in VLOOKUPs and other data analysis tools. Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent customer service skills, with good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing. Able to meet deadlines, work efficiently, and carry out tasks with daily instructions. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a non-profit organization or a similar industry is a plus, but not required. Experience with Sage Intacct or other accounting software is highly desirable. Knowledge of data protection policies and procedures, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team, contributing to the achievement of departmental goals.
