**Experienced Part-time Data Entry Clerk – Quality Improvement and Patient Care Support**

Our team is at the heart of all we do as an organization, and each employee has the opportunity to enhance the level of service we provide to our patients. **Join Our Team of Like-Minded Individuals** We are seeking a dedicated and capable Data Entry Clerk L1 to support our Quality Registry Manager, Data Entry Coordinators, and Data Entry Clerk L2 in gathering patient-reported outcomes while maintaining a technically accurate quality improvement database and assisting with other data-related duties as assigned. As a Data Entry Clerk L1 at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional care. **About the Role** As a Data Entry Clerk L1, you will play a vital role in supporting our quality improvement initiatives and patient care services. Your exceptional customer service abilities, attention to detail, and technical accuracy will enable you to deliver the highest level of patient service. You will work collaboratively with our quality team, principal investigators, residents, and clinical research team to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data collection and entry. **Key Responsibilities** * Interview patients by phone for the purpose of clinical improvement and research * Maintain accurate clinical databases, including inputting and updating patient data * Assist and use technology to facilitate and improve the accuracy of data collection * Monitor data quality within databases and provide immediate feedback to department supervisors * Assist the Quality Manager in all activities associated with quality improvement, data collection, and data validation * Ensure that work is completed in a timely manner in compliance with departmental policies and procedures, including patient privacy protection policies under HIPAA * Interact and work collaboratively with the quality team, principal investigators, residents, and clinical research team * Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager or department supervisors **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma or equivalent * One year of previous experience in a healthcare setting with database entry and data management preferred * Coursework in science, anatomy, and medical terminology preferred **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software * Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives and patient-reported outcomes * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry software **Skills and Competencies Required for Success** * Exceptional customer service abilities * Attention to detail and technical accuracy * Ability to work collaboratively with others * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry software * Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems * Strong organizational and time management skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
