We are seeking an experienced part-time data analyst to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional experiences for our customers. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced part-time data analyst to join our Digital and Travel Operations Analytics group. As a data analyst, you will be responsible for conducting forecasting, analyzing agent performance, and building displays and visualizations to inform compelling stories with data. You will also be responsible for presenting and speaking findings, insights, and suggestions to Senior Leadership and partners. Key Responsibilities Conduct forecasting, advert hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to steer business decisions Analyze agent performance, proactively discover areas that require further research, and own analyses from start to finish Build displays and visualizations to inform compelling stories with data Present and speak findings, insights, and suggestions to Senior Leadership and partners Build, maintain, audit, and constantly optimize reports and documents used to system multiple programs Manage projects essential to the business operation correctly under strict timelines Measurement and Analytics Leverage multiple reporting structures and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) for behavior analyses and build/preserve reports Supervise data quality and record accuracy Collaborate with team, leaders, and business partners to respond to summary business questions with sound quantitative analyses and reproducible results Apply modern analytic techniques to test hypotheses and extract actionable insights Stay up to date with the current data science trends and share expertise and best practices with team members Required Qualifications & Skills 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in forecasting and analytics Experience with time series forecasting techniques and modeling using machine learning or deep learning techniques Proficient in Python Proactive interest to recognize the "Why" behind performance, decisions, etc. Strong interest in details and ability to observe through tasks and complete tasks on time Effective verbal, written, and visual skills Desire to excel in a fast-paced, and ambiguous business environment Preferred Qualifications Solid expertise in statistical inference and applying statistical rigor to analyses Knowledge of data visualization common methodologies and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI Excellent SQL skills Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of proven experience in analytics or data science Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent Compensation and Benefits The base pay provided will consider internal fairness and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-associated knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
