Key Responsibilities


Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans and drive progress
Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans under the guidance of a BCBA Supervisor
Collaborate with BCBA Supervisors to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining a high level of professionalism
Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional services


Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed as a Behavioral Technician at Key Autism Services, you'll need:


A Bachelor's Degree or be working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology)
At least 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting
1 year of ABA experience or equivalent experience as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A reliable vehicle and personal means of transportation
The ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills


Preferred qualifications include:


Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification or willingness to obtain certification
Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families
