Job Overview As a NoSQL Database Engineer at Publix Technology, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our NoSQL database environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable, high-performance solutions that meet the needs of our business. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain NoSQL database environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. Collaborate with development teams to develop and deploy applications that leverage NoSQL databases. Develop and maintain automation pipelines using Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and other tools. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to NoSQL databases and applications. Participate in architecture and design discussions, providing technical expertise and guidance. Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Engage with other teams to acquire technical knowledge and solve business problems. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our technical capabilities. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related analytical discipline, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 4 years' experience with all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). A minimum of 2 years' experience in managing production and scaled systems, ideally with databases and NoSQL technologies. A minimum of 2 years' experience implementing any one of the NoSQL databases MongoDB, Redis, or Cassandra. A minimum of 1 year of experience using Python and shell scripting. Experience working with Azure DevOps, automation pipelines, and CI/CD. Ability to engage with other teams and acquire technical knowledge to solve business problems. Experience in large enterprise environments involving multiple technical teams. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Strong technical understanding of programming languages such as C# or Java. Experience working with Ansible automation. Experience working with Terraform modules. Experience working with Kubernetes environments. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need: Strong analytical, design, engineering, planning, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, and various development teams. Strong technical expertise in NoSQL databases and related technologies.
