As a member of the Warehouse Department at L&M Radiator, Inc., a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor of MESABI cooling and heat transfer solutions, you will play a critical role in expediting orders, maintaining inventory control, and supporting various departments throughout the company. Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and organized individual to work directly with many departments, including Shipping and Receiving, Purchasing, Quality, Production, and Production Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and directing materials, communicating with necessary parties, and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and offers opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and fast-paced industry. Key Responsibilities: Expedite orders to shop and maintain inventory control, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials and supplies. Receive, inspect, and direct materials, communicating with necessary parties, including outside vendors and delivery personnel. Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, adhering to safety guidelines and procedures. Put up orders for shop, keeping inventory control and documentation up to date. Unload vendor supplies and materials, recording receivables and documents, and storing items in proper areas. Notify Quality personnel of receivables and coordinate with shipping clerk to expedite shipments. Assist in other areas of production as needed, if qualified, and perform related work and other duties as required by supervisor. Essential Qualifications: To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have: High School Diploma or GED with 1-year experience in a related field, such as warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management. Current Driver’s License and the ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Proficient with MS Excel and Word applications, with basic knowledge of steel materials and bolts, material handling, and packaging. Organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with others, understand and carry out simple oral and written instructions, and communicate clearly in English. Ability to pass a pre-employment written math test, physical, drug, and background test. Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system, with experience in Lean Manufacturing. Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of inventory control, logistics, and supply chain operations. Ability to operate forklifts, with exposure to blueprint reading and experience with hand tools. Strong math skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both written and verbal.
