Network Administrator Role: Key Responsibilities
As a Network Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the stability and security of our client's network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring WAN links for stability and performance
Administering routers, switches, and other network devices
Provisioning IP Addresses, LAN/VLAN configurations
Alerts and log monitoring to identify potential issues
Conducting preventative health checks to prevent network downtime
Incident Management: responding to and resolving network-related incidents
Generating reports on network performance and security
Administering security measures and Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Comprehensive Training and Development
No prior technical experience is required for this role. Our client will provide extensive training on essential technical skills, including:
Operating Systems: Windows, Unix, and Linux
Active Directory and Identity Management
Scripting languages: Powershell and Bash
Developer Tools and version control systems
Network analysis and troubleshooting tools: Wireshark
