Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Entry Associate to on a full-time basis. As a Data Entry Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for gathering, preparing, and entering alphabetic and numeric data from various source documents into our computer system for storage, processing, and data management purposes.This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST, and overtime as offered. The pay rate for this position is $16.50 per hour. Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database. Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages or information, and resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database. Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications. Following data program security practices and procedures at all times. Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily. Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required. Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations.Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to achieve 8,000 or higher on a 10-key test, preferably above 10,000. A minimum of 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in a medical office is preferred. Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone. Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to bolthires Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.Must have a full understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance. Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 words per minute. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve discrepancies and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
