Job Summary
We're seeking an exceptional Math Instructor / Tutor to join our team in Wellington, FL. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to create engaging and productive learning experiences for students, work collaboratively with colleagues, and build strong relationships with parents. Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students using the Mathnasium MethodTM
Participate in positive interactions with parents, establishing a high level of confidence and program value
Become proficient in digital educational materials and processes, leveraging technology to enhance student learning
Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery, adapting to the needs of students and the learning environment
Assess student progress throughout instructional sessions, working collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience
Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework, providing constructive feedback and guidance
Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment, contributing to a positive and inclusive atmosphere
Assist with non-teaching and instructional tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
A passion for math and working with students, with a strong desire to make a positive impact
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Exceptional math competency through at least Pre-Calculus, with a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and principles
The ability to balance various ongoing tasks, prioritizing responsibilities and managing time effectively
A willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium MethodTM, embracing our unique approach to math education
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly valued:
Previous experience in teaching or tutoring math, with a proven track record of success
A degree in mathematics, education, or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic foundation
Familiarity with digital educational tools and platforms, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems
