Key Responsibilities Teach and tutor students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method ® , terminology, and teaching practices. Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, ensuring each student receives the support they need. Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions, adapting your approach as needed to maximize their understanding and enjoyment of math. Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes, leveraging technology to enhance the learning experience. Support the maintenance of a safe, professional, and encouraging learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Math Instructor/Tutor at Mathnasium of St. Charles, you'll need: A passion for math and a proven track record of excellence in the subject, with a minimum proficiency through Algebra I. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues in a positive and supportive manner. An eagerness to learn and be trained in our unique methodologies and approaches. The ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your application: Previous experience working with children in an educational or tutoring setting. A background in math education or a related field. Familiarity with our Mathnasium Method ® or similar math education programs.
