Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and group stretch classes for up to 6 clients, tailoring your approach to each client's needs.
Motivate and encourage clients throughout their stretching journey, fostering a supportive and positive environment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive membership sales and retention through personal interaction and outreach.
Ensure the highest level of client care by delivering best-in-class stretching experiences, maintaining accurate client records, and scheduling recurring appointments.
Uphold StretchLab's safety protocols and policies, guaranteeing a secure and enjoyable experience for all clients.
Participate in staff meetings, educational presentations, and skills-sharing sessions to continually improve and grow as a professional.
Assist Sales Associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed, showcasing your knowledge and passion for stretching.
Maintain a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention.
Keep all equipment clean and well-maintained to ensure it's always available for client use.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as a Massage Therapist Stretch Professional at StretchLab Mill Valley, you'll need:
A current certification in Massage or Neuromuscular Therapy, Yoga, Pilates, Personal Training, Physical Therapy Assistance, NASM, ACE, Kinesiology, or a Sports and Exercise Science Degree.
Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Pilates/Yoga Instructor, with a proven track record of delivering hands-on training.
A passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility, along with a love for boutique fitness environments.
Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients from diverse backgrounds.
A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies.
Availability to complete our comprehensive 3-day Flexologist Training Program, including online tutorials and in-person training.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not mandatory, the following qualifications and skills can give you a competitive edge:
Experience working in a fitness or health environment where you've provided one-on-one training or guidance.
Knowledge of various stretching techniques and methodologies.
