We are now seeking an experienced Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing to join our team, responsible for driving sourcing initiatives for a variety of Goods Not for Resale (GNFR) categories. Job Overview and Responsibilities In this remote role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for GNFR categories, including Facilities & Maintenance, Corporate Services, Contingent Labor, and Marketing. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers, market trends, and best practices Assessing business needs to recommend sourcing approaches and plans Developing and executing procurement sourcing initiatives, such as RFPs and auctions, using SAP Ariba or a comparable sourcing platform Managing sourcing activities from requirements to contracting, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, ethical standards, and supplier diversity requirements Negotiating contract terms and pricing with potential suppliers, driving adoption and continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems Exercising advanced analytical skills when reviewing RFP results and recommending business awards, managing communication with the business and supplier community Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field At least 7-10 years of experience in procurement, ideally with recent experience in sourcing in a Retail or CPG company Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience operating with SAP Ariba or a comparable sourcing platform A proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects and delivering meaningful savings for the business Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts that provide the best value for the company, with strong leadership skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications and Competencies While not essential, the following qualifications and competencies are desirable: Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends Certifications in procurement or supply chain management, such as CIPS or ISM Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Foot Locker, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees.
