About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Group Leader to join our team, responsible for supervising daily activities of administrative, technical, and operational employees. As a leader, you'll set priorities for the team to ensure task completion, share responsibility and accountability for plant assets, personnel, and achievement of plant-related business goals. You'll foster a work environment with a high level of integrity and strong customer and safety focus that embraces inclusion and diversity, innovation, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Group Leader, you'll be responsible for:


Fostering EH&S engagement, particularly in the field and in the areas of personal safety and compliance.
Creating a Highly Reliable Organizational culture and the elimination of unplanned events by implementing reliability and maintenance services and solutions.
Completing the requirements of the Performance Management Process for Maintenance direct reports, which includes coaching and career development.
Implementing and providing ongoing support of the Maintenance Procedure Use Policy at the facility.
Creating Equipment Reliability Strategies based upon Top Opportunity List, Critical Equipment List, and identified plant/business needs.
Validating ERS implementation and closing gaps to improve/sustain reliability improvement.
Identifying and resolving Top Reliability Opportunities and decreasing equipment failure losses and leveraging those solutions both into and out of the facility.
Developing and implementing the Facility Reliability Strategy and providing input into the Business Reliability Strategy.
Managing site annual Turnarounds (pit-stops).
Facilitating the annual maintenance budget setting process.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:


A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant.
A minimum of 6 years of maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, or related experience.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including leading a project or initiative, mentoring, etc.
The ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.


Preferred Skills

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:


Mechanical Engineering degree.
SAP & GMISS proficiency.

Compensation

A reasonable salary range for this position is $94,800-$169,200. This job is eligible for an additional 18% geographic differential associated with the California location and this position.
