We're now seeking an experienced Live Chat Agent to join our team, who will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategy, managing customer leads, and ensuring seamless execution across various departments. About the Role As a Live Chat Agent at blithequark, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer leads, and ensuring that our agent vendors understand and execute our sales strategy. You will work closely with our property management team to understand demographics, branding, and booking objectives, and assist our booking team in sharing information with Contract Managers. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating the audition process, managing reports and spreadsheets, and providing day-to-day support for event scheduling and booking functions. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sales strategies with agent vendors to achieve sales goals and objectives Ensure all customer leads are properly managed and followed up on in a timely manner Collaborate with property management to understand demographics, branding, and booking objectives, and align sales strategies accordingly Assist the booking team in drafting, tracking, and summarizing deal points for various venues, and provide support in sharing information with Contract Managers Serve as blithequark's liaison to talent and coordinate the audition process to ensure flawless execution Perform tasks that require standing and/or moving at a fast pace for periods of up to eight hours, and navigate scenic elements associated with specific shows and acts Create and manage reports and spreadsheets to track various booking and scheduling activities, and provide insights to inform sales strategies Provide day-to-day support for event scheduling and booking functions, including pro formas, offers, tour histories, event-related contracts, and post-event summaries Host industry and civic leaders at world-class events, ensuring exceptional customer experiences Maintain the agent channel portfolio effectively to avoid potential conflicts with other sales team members Ensure the sales team's understanding of new products and provide product feedback to inform sales strategies Motivate a team of sales professionals to meet or exceed sales goals, and achieve planned sales budget for the agent channel through training, motivation, and monitoring Maximize sales opportunities, ensure high-quality product delivery, and provide exceptional customer service Assist in finding, securing, and on-boarding outside vendors to perform in the park or at special events Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving sales targets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including agent vendors, property management, and talent Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create and manage reports and spreadsheets Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded: Experience in managing a team of sales professionals, with a proven track record of motivating and training team members Knowledge of the entertainment or hospitality industry, with a understanding of the sales and booking processes Experience with CRM software and other sales tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly Strong understanding of customer service principles, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Sales strategy and execution Customer service and relations Communication and interpersonal skills Analytical and problem-solving skills Time management and organization Leadership and team management Adaptability and flexibility Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
