As a Lead Teacher at Childcare Network, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of care and education, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our children and their families. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe, warm, and inviting classroom environment that is clean, organized, and conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress, needs, and achievements to foster partnership and support. Develop strong professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to encourage parent and community engagement. Adhere to all minimum licensing, quality-rated, and accreditation guidelines, as well as company standards, to maintain a high-quality standard of care. Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children, following our nutrition guidelines and USDA regulations. Utilize our science-based, proprietary curriculum and suggested supplement activities to create a fun and engaging learning environment tailored to each child's developmental needs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including attendance, child portfolios, USDA documentation, and other required records. Partner with team members and leadership to achieve center goals around enrollment, accreditations, and family engagement. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful as a Lead Teacher at Childcare Network, you'll need: Genuine warmth and understanding of the needs of young children and their families. A positive attitude and self-image, with a commitment to innovation and creativity. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, parents, and children. 1-3 years of teaching experience or certification (we'll support you in obtaining certification if needed). HS Diploma or GED required. Ability to pass the state-required criminal background check. Meet all state certifications and requirements.
