From forecasting, funding, tracking, and reporting on projects, to ways of working, and resource management, Business Operations has visibility and input into all aspects of the team. The Commitment Analysis Team We are seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join our Commitment Analysis team, who will be an exceptional addition to our group. We partner with various teams across the organization to turn data into information, information into insights, and insights into strategic business decisions that steer the course of the company. Key Responsibilities Lead the team in its reporting plan and data strategy, organizing experts to build tooling and communicate with our stakeholders, as well as the broader Disney universe. Drive the use of analytics as a key value driver across our organization. Business Performance Reporting and Representation: Be the primary partner for cross-functional stakeholders to understand the performance of the platform. When a metric is ahead or behind expectations, dive in to drive meaningful, actionable insights that help improve business performance or double down on success. Reporting and Tooling Process: Lead the team in the creation of meaningful and consistent metrics and reporting across streaming platforms. BI Implementation: Drive reporting for particularly large-scale data, acting as an expert for analysts in the team and collaborating with Data Engineering and Engineering in designing and building performant ETLs, mediator tables, and beautiful and fast Tableau and Looker dashboards. Creation of a Single Source of Truth: Collaborate with our Management team and unite analysts and stakeholders from across the team to define and standardize the metrics by which we assess product performance. ETL and Metric Design: Own metric design and production by defining business requirements, structure, and development, and long-term data adaptability. Collaboration and Communication: Partner closely with business stakeholders to identify and understand what they need to drive decisions, and with other data teams to improve platform capabilities around data modeling, testing platforms, data visualization, and data architecture. Essential Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Economics, Math, or a related degree. Experience creating data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. 4+ years of analytical experience, preferably explicitly in analytics engineering. Proficiency in SQL, with some experience in SparkSQL, Hive, etc. an plus. Substantial experience with OLAP databases like Snowflake or Redshift. Experience creating and maintaining advanced tables for reporting through ETLs. Project and resource management experience, outlining objectives, and timelines, and coordinating work across multiple stakeholders. Python/R or other statistical programming languages. Extreme drive and passion for delivering exceptional products. Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills and experience presenting to various audiences.
