About the Role As an IVR Developer with Java expertise, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our IVR solutions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain IVR applications that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Design and develop IVR applications using VXML and GDF, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and databases using Java and SQL. Create call flows for inbound and outbound IVR systems that meet customer requirements. Testing and Deployment: Perform unit, functional, and integration testing of IVR applications to ensure high-quality deliverables. Utilize Cyara for automated testing and monitoring of IVR systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Deploy IVR applications on Avaya and Genesys platforms, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime. Integration and Maintenance: Integrate speech recognition and text-to-speech technologies using GDF, enhancing the overall IVR experience. Monitor and maintain IVR systems to ensure high availability and performance, troubleshooting issues promptly. Resolve issues related to IVR applications and infrastructure, collaborating with relevant teams as needed. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA engineers, and project managers to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. Provide technical support and training to other team members and stakeholders, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a strong foundation in IVR development, Java programming, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have: Technical Skills: Proficiency in VXML, GDF, and IVR application development, with experience working with multiple IVR technologies and platforms. Expertise in few or more of IVR technologies/products like GDF, Avaya, Genesys, Amazon Connect, Watson, and Nuance. Familiarity with Cyara for IVR testing and monitoring, with a strong understanding of inbound and outbound call flow design. Experience with speech recognition and text-to-speech technologies, with a solid grasp of telephony protocols and standards. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in IVR development, with a proven track record of deploying and maintaining IVR systems in production environments. Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for technical expertise. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus: Experience working with cloud-based IVR solutions, such as Amazon Connect. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, with experience deploying IVR applications in containerized environments.
