Position Overview

In this role, you will support various IT initiatives across multiple teams, including Revenue Management and Accounting, Loyalty Programs, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Business Intelligence. What You'll Do
As an integral member of the arenaflex IT team, your responsibilities will vary based on your assigned team and project needs. Here's what you can expect:
Business Analysis Support: Assist in gathering requirements for IT projects, documenting business needs, and helping translate them into technical specifications. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their challenges and propose data-driven solutions.
Software Development: Participate in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. Depending on your skills, you may work with technologies like Java/JEE, JSON, Spring, Angular, JavaScript, C++ on Linux, Python, REST, XML, and web services.
Data Analysis & Analytics: Support the creation of performance dashboards, reports, and service level agreements. You'll analyze large datasets to uncover insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
Systems Administration: Assist in maintaining and enhancing infrastructure environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of critical systems.
Technical Support: Provide assistance for IT operations, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our technology ecosystem.
Collaboration & Innovation: Engage in Agile/DevOps practices, participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and contribute fresh ideas to solve complex business challenges.
Cloud & Emerging Technologies: Explore opportunities to work with cloud computing, mobile applications, enterprise web applications, APIs, messaging systems, databases, big data platforms, and artificial intelligence solutions.
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field
Ability to work from our Atlanta, GA or Minneapolis St. Paul, MN office location (as determined during the interview process)
Most teams operate on a hybrid schedule with partial remote work, subject to management approval
Strong analytical, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to embrace diverse perspectives, thinking styles, and team dynamics
Commitment to maintaining safety and security for yourself and others
Enthusiasm for tackling complex problems with persistence and a growth mindset
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Software Development Lifecycle, cloud computing concepts, and/or computer hardware components
Comfortable working in a business-casual professional environment
Interest in pursuing a full-time career with arenaflex after graduation, should a permanent offer be extended
Dedication to prioritizing safety, security, and data protection in all work activities
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to process large volumes of data and translate complex information into actionable insights that support decision-making

Previous internship or project experience in software development, data analysis, or business analysis

Understanding of database concepts and SQL
