This is a fully remote role, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere. As a security specialist, you will have the forefront responsibility of ensuring the security of all American Airlines passengers, crew, and aircraft. Your strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas will drive success in this position. Key Responsibilities Ensure the security of all American Airlines passengers, crew, and aircraft Be trained and involved in all aspects of the Global Security Program, including passenger screening, baggage security, catering, ramp, and aircraft security Use wise judgment and be ready to respond consistently Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in security Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills The ability to work under pressure and make sound judgments Flexibility to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays Proficiency in English and the local language A strong understanding of security protocols and procedures Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a security-related field Knowledge of aviation security regulations and standards Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Career Growth and Development At American Airlines, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
