About the Role The Intelligence Data Analyst position is a full-time remote opportunity that requires a unique blend of technical skills, analytical thinking, and communication abilities. As an Intelligence Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to inform Trust and Safety strategies. Your work will have a direct impact on the safety and integrity of blithequark's products, and you will be an integral part of a team that is dedicated to making the web a safer place. Key Responsibilities Influence SQL to build robust and scalable scripts and workflows that automate data collection, enhancement, and delivery, amplifying the team's impact. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, effectively translating complex Trust and Safety Intelligence needs into clear, meaningful requirements for data solutions. Establish standardized processes and methodologies for data analysis that can be applied across various subjects, ensuring consistency and efficiency in generating meaningful insights. Transform raw data into compelling visualizations and reports that clearly communicate key findings and significant recommendations to stakeholders across the organization. Work with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial, or disturbing themes or content. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A four-year college degree or equivalent practical experience. At least 1 year of experience in data analysis, data science, analytics, or related fields. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A graduate degree in a relevant field. Experience with SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience with a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python). Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at different levels. Experience with modeling, experimentation, and causal inference. Experience in Trust and Safety, Intel, or policy. Skill and Competency Requirements To excel in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, analytical, and soft skills, including: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and patterns. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits The base compensation range for this full-time position is $108,000-$158,000, plus bonus and benefits. Our compensation is determined by job, level, and location, and the range shown on each job posting reflects the base and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Inside the range, individual salary is determined by work location and additional factors, including position-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
