Job Responsibilities
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician on the 3rd shift, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing complex equipment and machinery in our production plant. Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing support to production lines by troubleshooting failures and making necessary repairs to maximize efficiencies
Completing all assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks through SAP
Participating in rebuilds and overhauls on production line and support equipment
Assisting with parts management and communicating any deficiencies to the Parts Planner
Providing consistent communication with fellow maintenance staff through End of Shift reports
Supporting the Swire Manufacturing Continuous Improvement (SMCI) process by participating in established routines with production operators
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and following established safety, quality, and environmental policies
Operating the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management system for inventory and production line operational excellence
Cleaning tools, parts, and equipment after line rebuilds/repairs/maintenance
Installing new equipment as necessary and providing technical expertise to train and support production
Operating and monitoring equipment and replenishing materials as needed
Conducting quality reviews of equipment to maintain safety and performance standards


Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
Trade School certification preferred
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read schematics and diagrams
Welding and fabrication experience
Experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems
Ability to learn new software and interfaces quickly and strong computer skills
Carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, and fabrication skills
Knowledge of manufacturing, production operators, and industrial technology preferred
Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
Ability to lift 50 pounds
