As a Heavy Haul Truck Driver with Workwarp, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers. You'll be responsible for verifying deliveries, obtaining signatures, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Verify deliveries with customers to maintain accuracy and obtain proper signatures when necessary
Operate a heavy haul truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through timely and courteous service
Comply with all DOT regulations, including hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and driver qualifications
Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following qualifications:
Essential Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
Ability to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records
Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to operate manual transmission
Experience with heavy haul trucking operations
Knowledge of logistics and transportation industry
Physical Requirements
As a Heavy Haul Truck Driver, you'll be required to:
Lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
Drive and work in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift)
