In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providers, and referral sources, providing expert guidance and support to those in need of our services. Job Overview As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will work in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment, receiving and responding to approximately 60-65 incoming calls per day. Your primary responsibility will be to collect clinical and demographic information, entering it accurately into our CareCentrix portal. You will be the face of our organization, providing exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional and empathetic manner. Key Responsibilities: Respond to incoming calls from patients, providers, and referral sources, providing expert guidance and support Collect and accurately enter clinical and demographic information into our CareCentrix portal Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional and empathetic manner Comply with all blithequark policies, including HIPAA/PHI, to ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information Meet or exceed individual performance goals in areas such as Call Quality, Attendance, Adherence, and other Contact Center objectives Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives, fostering a positive and supportive work environment Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent empathy and patience, with the ability to handle difficult callers or complex requests. You should have strong attention to detail, with the ability to navigate dual monitors and multiple applications. Intermediate keyboarding abilities, with a minimum of 30 words per minute, are required, as well as basic PC and search engine skills. Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment Minimum 1 year of experience working in the healthcare or medical industry, with knowledge of medical terminology Ability to work in a remote environment, with a reliable high-speed internet connection (fiber or cable required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a home healthcare setting Knowledge of HIPAA/PHI regulations and guidelines Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families from diverse backgrounds Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Technical Skills: Intermediate keyboarding abilities, with a minimum of 30 words per minute Basic PC and search engine skills, with the ability to navigate dual monitors and multiple applications Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong empathy and patience, with the ability to handle difficult callers or complex requests Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
