Job Overview We are looking for a diligent and hardworking Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at UPS. As a warehouse associate, you will be a critical part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly impact our ability to conduct business, serve our customers, and make deliveries. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. This is a full-time position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner Checking and recording incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy and attention to detail Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations Assisting with inventory management, including processing orders and preparing them for dispatch Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and other machinery Ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed, including reporting any incidents or hazards Collaborating with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but not required Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks Excellent communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience with inventory management software and systems Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and other machinery Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make decisions Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Attention to detail : ability to accurately check and record incoming deliveries, and ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized Organizational skills : ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines Communication skills : ability to work effectively in a team environment, and communicate with other team members and management Problem-solving skills : ability to think critically, make decisions, and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment Physical ability : ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in a warehouse environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At UPS, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
