Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician – Remote – $20/hr. (160813) Pay & Schedule • Pay: $20.00/hr. • Training: 11/10/2025 – 12/30/2025, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST, Monday–Friday • No training on 11/27 (Thanksgiving) or 12/25 (Christmas) • After training: Permanent 8-hour shift assigned based on business needs • Includes two 15-min breaks & one 30-min lunch • Full-time, consistent schedule provided at end of training Position Overview We are seeking a Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician to join our remote team. This high-volume, inbound call position supports members, providers, and healthcare professionals through the prior authorization process. You’ll review clinical documentation, process determinations, and ensure compliance while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities • Answer inbound calls from members, providers, and healthcare professionals. • Provide clear, courteous support through the prior authorization process. • Review clinical information for completeness and eligibility. • Document approvals, denials, and outcomes accurately and promptly. • Escalate complex or clinical judgment cases to pharmacists. • Follow all regulatory, compliance, and internal protocol requirements.
