Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

As a Delta Airlines Remote Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our passengers have a smooth and enjoyable travel experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:


Greeting and assisting customers with ticketing, baggage check-in, and boarding processes
Providing exceptional customer service, responding to queries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Operating computer systems to process transactions, manage seat assignments, and update flight information
Tagging and lifting baggage, operating loading bridges, and securing aircraft doors
Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport
Making gate announcements, ensuring customers have the necessary travel documentation, and providing information on flight schedules and delays


Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:


High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; some college or university education preferred
At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
Proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer literacy and ability to learn and operate airline software systems
Ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT) and a Customer Service Assessment
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:


Previous experience in customer service, airline, or related industry
Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
Knowledge of airline operations, regulations, and policies
Certification in customer service, aviation, or related field
