Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Clerk at Blithequark, you will be responsible for: Settling customer shipments and preparing monthly claims with accuracy and attention to detail Creating invoices and bills in QuickBooks, and ensuring that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date Generating and emailing customers settlement reports, and providing exceptional customer service and support Verifying customer logs and ensuring that all data is accurate and complete Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems, and ensuring that all documents are organized and easily accessible Communicating with customers and operation groups regarding any shipment report discrepancies, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Assisting with other administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, greeting visitors, preparing payroll times, and performing other office-related duties Working on other office administrative-related assignments, and providing support to the team as needed Requirements and Qualifications To be successful as a Data Entry Clerk at Blithequark, you will need: A high school diploma with some college education and/or 1 year of office work experience (previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred) Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint), and ability to quickly learn new software applications Good oral and written communication skills, and ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members Working knowledge of QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) is a plus, but not required Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and complete records Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need: Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications Strong accounting knowledge and/or experience, with ability to quickly learn new accounting software applications Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
