The Role As a Remote Customer Service Representative - Healthcare Advocate at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: Providing exceptional customer service to 50-70 individuals every day, navigating complex healthcare systems and finding solutions to their problems Building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized support Communicating effectively with customers via phone, email, and other web-based systems Managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing customer needs, and meeting productivity goals Staying up-to-date on industry developments, medical terminology, and benefit plans to provide accurate and informed support Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience Requirements Essential Qualifications High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred At least 1 year of experience in insurance operations or a related field Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems and find solutions Proficiency in multiple web-based systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly Attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document customer interactions and manage multiple tasks Preferred Qualifications Healthcare or insurance experience, with knowledge of medical terminology and benefit plans Background in social work, behavioral health, or a related field Customer service experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to work independently What We Offer Competitive Compensation and Benefits At blithequark, we offer competitive salaries and benefits packages that recognize the value of our team members.
