Job Summary As an Online Data Entry Typist at blithequark, you will be responsible for inputting various data into our system, performing routine clerical and administrative functions, and ensuring the accuracy and up-to-dateness of our systems and databases. This is a part-time position, requiring less than 4 hours of work per day, and offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities Prepare and sort documents for data entry, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Enter data into database software, checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted. Review and verify data entries, resolving discrepancies in information as needed. Check completed work for errors or duplicate information before submitting the final product. Maintain and update workflow records regarding work completed and work pending. Assist other administrative staff in filing, xeroxing, typing, and other tasks as necessary. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Requirements Essential Qualifications Fast typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred. Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.). Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices. Basic understanding of databases and data entry software. Good command of English, both oral and written, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Great attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently. Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines, with excellent time management and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a data entry or similar role, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency. Experience working in a remote capacity, with excellent self-motivation and discipline. Knowledge of data entry software and systems, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
