Job Summary
As a Full-Time Dishwasher and Porter, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the Foodservice Department according to safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. Key Responsibilities:
Regularly collect and dispose of all food-related and recyclable waste/trash, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Transport carts, deliver meal trays, or pick up meal trays from assigned areas, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
Comply with internal policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements/standards regarding kitchen safety and sanitation.
Clean and maintain carts and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and cleaning solutions.
Perform warewashing duties per safety guidelines, including dishmachine and three-compartment pot sink operations.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless foodservice operations and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will possess:
No degree or any other education earned is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
No prior experience is necessary, but previous experience in foodservice or a related field is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull objects up to 75 pounds.
Frequent standing, walking, and bending, with occasional kneeling and squatting.
