Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Visual Media Systems Expert to join our Visual Media Creation team. As a Visual Media Systems Expert, you will contribute to delivering high-quality content and develop innovative technology solutions for immersive experiences. This is a full-time job and will report to the Visual Media Systems Director. Key Responsibilities Master video editing workflows from acquisition to delivery, ensuring seamless projects Design and implement video editing workstations and shared storage solutions for collaborative work environments Lead all aspects of media archiving, documentation, and recovery processes Manage network switches and routers Provide strong support for Windows and OSX desktop systems, NAS, SAN, and OSX servers Contribute to motion graphics collaborative workflows with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, Maya, Nuke, and other motion graphics modules Understand desktop/server hardware, professional video I/O equipment, online technologies, and codecs Stay updated on industry advancements and provide insights to advance processes and systems Required Capabilities and Skills Demonstrated expertise in project management and assessment Proven track record in video production or media production facilities Fundamental knowledge of wired networking, LAN technologies, and understanding of LAN/WAN help and support Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends Preferred Capabilities Experience with IP Video Transport, including RTMP and NDI, using modern CDN Related knowledge in live video production environments Any relevant technical certifications Proficiency in providing support for Nuke environments Experience in creating and utilizing Smartsheet for workflow optimization Ability to provide strong support for desktop systems Education Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we believe in empowering our employees to grow and develop their skills.
