Job Summary We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated software engineer to join our Wireless Software Development team as an Apple At Home Advisor. As a full stack software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing wireless software solutions that enable seamless connectivity and innovative features for Apple products and services. Your expertise will span multiple layers of wireless technology, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and more. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality solutions that exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and test wireless software solutions for Apple products and services, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and other wireless technologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, product management, and software development, to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions Develop and maintain expertise in wireless technologies, including IEEE 802.15.4, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and Thread Grid Contribute to the development of wireless systems and APIs that enable seamless connectivity and innovative features Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers Participate in code reviews, and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase Stay up-to-date with industry trends, and apply knowledge of emerging technologies to drive innovation and growth Essential Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields At least 4 years of hands-on experience in software development and/or system engineering Strong programming skills in C, C++, or Objective-C, with experience in multi-threaded environments Experience with wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and other wireless protocols Knowledge of IoT protocols, such as IEEE 802.15.4, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and Thread Grid Experience with home automation technologies, including Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z-Wave, and Thread Grid Proven track record of delivering projects from concept to commercialization Excellent communication and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a focus on customer experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with open-source software development Knowledge of wireless systems and APIs, including APIs for IoT and home automation Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence Familiarity with Apple's ecosystem and products What We Offer As an Apple At Home Advisor, you will enjoy a range of benefits and perks that reflect our commitment to your growth and well-being.
