Job Summary As a seasoned Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer – Security Data Infrastructure and Pipelines , you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our security data infrastructure and pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth flow of data, develop and implement data integration processes, and optimize database performance. Your expertise in data engineering, security, and software development will help drive innovation and excellence in our organization. Key Responsibilities Data Integration: Collaborate with senior data engineers to design, develop, and maintain data integration processes to collect and ingest data from various sources. Implement data pipelines for security detection to ensure the smooth flow of data from source to destination. Data Transformation: Participate in data cleansing, validation, and transformation activities to ensure data quality and consistency. Write and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Database Management: Assist in the management and optimization of databases, including SQL and NoSQL databases. Help maintain database schemas and configurations. Data Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Supervise security data pipelines for errors and issues and assist in solving and resolving problems. Assist with the development of alerting and monitoring systems. Analyze security incidents and provide solutions. Tune the performance of data pipelines to save time and cost. Tune the threshold of different pipelines to improve the security of the product. Documentation: Build and maintain technical documentation, including data pipeline documentation and data dictionaries. Document code changes, processes, and business methodologies. Collaboration: Work closely with multi-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, and other engineers. Collaborate on data integration and transformation requirements. Learning and Growth: Stay up to date with data engineering technologies and emerging trends. Participate in training and mentorship programs to improve your skills. Requirements Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum 3 years of related experience in software development, data engineering, or a related field. Basic experience with programming languages like Java, Scala, or Python. Experience with data engineering concepts and technologies like Spark or Flink. Familiarity with ETL and Data Pipeline, Databricks. Understanding of data storage and database management (e.g., HDFS, S3, Redis, SQL and NoSQL databases). Knowledge of distributed system development and middleware such as Kafka, Kinesis. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Identity Security. Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and services. Knowledge of security best practices and compliance regulations. What We Offer At Disney Streaming Technology LLC, we offer a competitive compensation package, including: A salary range of $117,998 to $158,290 per year (dependent on location and experience).
