Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at arenaflex. About the Role As an Information Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing and building core features and components of card exchange systems on a distributed platform hosted in a hybrid cloud environment. You'll work closely with senior architects and other technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities Design and build distributed data processing and analytics systems, with a focus on performant code and scalable architecture. Develop and deploy features, working closely with designers and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. Build proof-of-concepts (POCs) to test new ideas and technologies. Stay up-to-date with industry-leading innovations and technologies, and contribute to the development of low-latency distributed systems. Lead by example and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation, encouraging a results-driven and collaborative approach to problem-solving. Work closely with peer innovation and development teams across various areas to deliver high-quality solutions. Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: Essential Qualifications 2+ years of experience in software development and deployment using Java or Scala. Experience in data processing using Flash. Knowledge of designing, implementing, and working with NoSQL databases like Cassandra, Elasticsearch. Preferred Qualifications Experience in distributed data processing and analytics using Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Flash. Experience in message queuing systems like Kafka. Experience in building microservices and Service Mesh is a plus. Experience in cloud platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift is a plus. Experience in Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and DevOps frameworks. Clear understanding of different design patterns, threading, and memory models supported by the language/VM. Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver effective presentations to senior management.
