Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Supported Hunt Information group at Walmart, where you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines, databases, and ETL processes for Walmart's Supported Pursuit Advertising platform. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing large volumes of data to support marketing on Walmart.com and its subsidiaries. Develop and deploy large-scale, containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on public clouds like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scrum teams, QA, Product, Program Management, and Partner Operations, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to troubleshoot production issues across cross-functional teams. Work on cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud for data storage, processing, and analysis. Develop and maintain data models for efficient storage and retrieval of large datasets. Ensure data quality, availability, and reliability for analysis and reporting. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in data engineering concepts, database design, ETL processes, and data mining. Proficiency in working with data technologies, including SQL, Python, Java, Scala, Hadoop, and related tools and technologies. Experience with ETL tools like Apache NiFi. Strong skills working with relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra). Experience with real-time message processing using Apache Kafka. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with Distributed Computing Services like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure, as well as Distributed Storage Systems like Hive and Spark. Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions. Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices. Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
