Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Direct and supervise assigned sales account managers to ensure achievement of unit and revenue objectives, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to help them succeed. Sales Strategy: Formulate and implement sales plans for assigned accounts, providing tactical input to leadership and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth and innovation. Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, providing expertise and consultation to resolve complex problems and negotiate agreements. Sales Performance: Manage and influence the hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews of direct reports, ensuring a high-performing team that meets sales targets. Field Presence: Spend a majority of time in the field, working closely with customers, and developing a deep understanding of their needs and priorities. Solution Selling: Provide input for sales strategies and training sales teams to implement plans, ensuring a customer-centric approach to solution selling. Essential Qualifications Experience: Three to five years of successful sales management experience in the wireless, data, and/or telecommunications industry, with a proven record of accomplishment in meeting quota and solution selling/account management. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, with a technical discipline preferred. Skills: Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Decision-making and problem-solving capabilities. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently and aggressively seek new business. Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Current auto insurance and reliable vehicle. Preferred Qualifications Experience: Proven ability to sell complex solutions and manage a team of sales professionals. Education: Technical discipline or related field. Skills: Ability to present a professional image of self and company. Ability to travel. What We Offer As a Sales Manager with AT&T, you'll have access to a comprehensive compensation package, including: Competitive Salary: $85,400 - $128,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
