Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Network Engineer to join our team in Connecticut, USA. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange across our systems. Key Responsibilities Work closely with our Network Planners, Transport, Security Architects, and internal partners to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability. Develop and maintain our network standards and guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with our teams to identify and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime. Design, implement, and maintain network security measures to protect our systems and data from cyber threats. Participate in the development and implementation of new network technologies and solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends. Work closely with our vendors to evaluate and implement new technologies, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within our organization. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures. Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSCP, and IDS/IPS. Experience with network security measures, including firewalls, web application firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with minimal supervision and tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications We're looking for candidates with: Experience in the media or digital content delivery industries. Knowledge of big business design standards, industry guidelines, and best practices. Experience with risk assessment strategies, policy development, job-based approval procedures, validation techniques, and security attack pathologies. Experience with programming languages, including Perl, Python, Ruby, Shell, C, or C++. Strong understanding of server, storage, desktop, security, transport, and network system technologies. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong technical skills, with a focus on network engineering and infrastructure design. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
