About the Role As a Google Jobs Program Manager, you'll be responsible for driving product development and launch across multiple product areas within Google Workspace. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and sales, to define product vision and strategy, set product goals and objectives, and drive product development from concept to launch. You'll also be responsible for engaging with customers to understand their needs and pain points, and for developing and executing product plans that meet those needs. Key Responsibilities Define product vision and strategy: Work with cross-functional teams to define product vision and strategy, and to develop product plans that meet customer needs. Lead cross-functional teams: Lead cross-functional teams to drive product development from concept to launch, and to ensure that products meet customer needs and business objectives. Drive product development: Drive product development from concept to launch, including defining product requirements, developing product roadmaps, and managing product development timelines. Engage with customers: Engage with customers to understand their needs and pain points, and to develop product plans that meet those needs. Develop and execute product plans: Develop and execute product plans that meet customer needs and business objectives, and that drive product development from concept to launch. Collaborate with internal teams: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, design, and sales, to drive product development and launch. Analyze and report on product performance: Analyze and report on product performance, including metrics such as customer adoption, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong track record of success in product management, as well as excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills. You'll also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements. Essential Qualifications 4+ years of experience in product management: You'll need to have a strong track record of success in product management, including experience in defining product vision and strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and driving product development from concept to launch. Experience in cloud-based products: You'll need to have experience in cloud-based products, including experience in developing and launching cloud-based products. Strong communication and leadership skills: You'll need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and to drive product development and launch. Strong analytical skills: You'll need to have strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and report on product performance, and to make data-driven decisions. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree or PhD in a related field: A graduate degree or PhD in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or business, is highly desirable. Experience in Google Cloud Platform: Experience in Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable, including experience in developing and launching cloud-based products. Experience in Agile development methodologies: Experience in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, is highly desirable. Experience in cloud-based security and compliance: Experience in cloud-based security and compliance is highly desirable, including experience in developing and implementing cloud-based security and compliance policies and procedures.
