Our Data Platform team plays a critical role in enabling our business to make data-driven decisions, and we're looking for talented engineers to help us build and maintain our distributed systems. **About the Role** As a Full Stack Distributed Systems Engineer on our Data Platform team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable, high-performance, and highly available distributed systems that support our business-critical applications. You'll work closely with our engineering teams to identify and prioritize projects, design and implement new features, and troubleshoot and resolve issues. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and build scalable, high-performance, and highly available distributed systems using a range of technologies, including Java, Python, and other programming languages * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize projects, design and implement new features, and troubleshoot and resolve issues * Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that meets our engineering standards * Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure the quality and reliability of our systems * Troubleshoot and resolve issues with our distributed systems, working closely with our engineering teams and other stakeholders * Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in distributed systems, and apply this knowledge to improve our systems and processes **Focus Areas** Our Data Platform team is organized into several focus areas, each with its own unique challenges and opportunities.
