You will contribute to business-wide needs and ensure the adoption of same, including discernibility, adaptability, accessibility, security, and cost execution. Your expertise will help us to design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead DevOps strategy covering plan, development of tools, practices, and culture * Establish and uphold DevOps best practices, including version control, code review, automated testing, and deployment techniques * Design and manage infrastructure as code, using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar, to provision and manage assets across cloud environments * Execute and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar, ensuring fast and reliable application deployment * Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure teams are adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements * Monitor and analyze DevOps pipelines and practices, identifying areas for improvement, development, and automation to enhance release/failback consistency and accuracy * Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption within the organization's DevOps environment * Coach and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * Experience working in open cloud environments, GCP (e.g., Google Cloud Platform), Azure, or AWS, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) * Capability in infrastructure as code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for automating asset provisioning and deployment * Active involvement in CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git) * Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or similar * Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex DevOps stage issues and provide effective solutions * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and partners **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Cloud Logging Solutions) to ensure application performance and system health * Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including experience with vulnerability scanning, compliance frameworks, and secure deployment practices * Leadership experience, including mentoring and directing junior specialists, is an asset **About Our Culture** At CVS Wellbeing, we value diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
