Our National Security Team supports the intelligence community, providing, operating, and assuring critical voice, video, and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Deployment Management Engineer to join our Change Management Engineering Area in providing network engineering expertise. As a Deployment Management Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, testing, and executing builds, testing, and deployment of system and software releases, delivering telecommunications patches, upgrades, and configurations, and implementing baseline configuration changes, additions, and deletions. You will work closely with our team to ensure the successful deployment of our network solutions and services. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan, test, and execute builds, testing, and deployment of system and software releases * Deliver telecommunications patches, upgrades, and configurations (logical and physical) * Review and validate approved engineering design and implementation of router/switch/firewall, including complex scripts, network implementation * Implement baseline configuration changes, additions, and deletions * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment of network solutions and services * Develop and maintain documentation of deployment processes and procedures * Identify and resolve deployment-related issues and escalate to senior engineers as needed **Required Qualifications** * Prerequisite knowledge of the latest Cisco and Juniper routing and switching platforms (for Service Provider Core/Edge, Datacenter, and Branch devices) * Hands-on experience with Firewall appliances (VPN Concentrator and Adaptive Security Appliance) is preferred * Basic understanding of EIGRP, OSPF, BGP/MP-BGP, and MPLS, hands-on experience is a plus * A total of 7 years of applicable experience, which can be a combination of degree and work history * High School degree and 7 years of work history, or * Associate's and 5 years, or * Bachelor's and 3 years, or * Master's and 1 year, or * PhD and 0 years of relevant work history **Desired Qualifications** * CCNA or JNCA certification **Skills and Competencies** * Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including routing, switching, and firewall configurations * Experience with deployment management tools and processes * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At AT&T Global Public Sector, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
