Job Description
The System Quality team at Apple is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to help us further develop software quality for iOS and macOS. We're a team that values agile, rapid innovation, and we're looking for a collaborative and results-driven individual who can play a key role in developing new tools and processes for the SWE Program bundle.
Key Responsibilities
Experience with distributed estimation, aggregation, and workflow management tools (Cassandra, Spark, Hadoop)
Experience designing, leading, executing, and interpreting tests or assessments
Ability to work with different levels of the data science process (data wrangling, cleaning, extraction, transformation, loading, analysis/visualization/modeling)
Strong analytical, creative, motivated, and results-driven mindset
Excellent communication, verbal, and data presentation skills
Passion for client-focused design and high-quality development

In the System Quality team, we're responsible for performing high-quality data analysis, development, and maintenance of delivered data pipelines, as well as creation and support of analysis tools. We're a team that values collaboration, innovation, and results-driven thinking, and we're looking for a talented individual who can contribute to our mission.
Qualifications
BS/MS or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics)
Strong understanding of data science concepts, including data wrangling, cleaning, extraction, transformation, loading, analysis, and visualization
Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
