Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist – Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Analytics Expert – arenaflex

Job Summary: arenaflex is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Full Stack Data Scientist to join our Scientific Affairs team. As a Data Scientist – RWE, you will play a crucial role in producing Real-World Evidence (RWE) through superior analytics and progressive processes within the medical trials space. You will be responsible for designing and executing strong and reproducible statistical analyses, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing actionable insights from real-world, medical, and other data assets to support biopharmaceutical RWE and medical trial requests.About arenaflex: arenaflex is a leading healthcare, pharmacy, and retail company with a 170-year history of caring for communities. Our pharmacists play a vital role in the U.S. healthcare system by providing a wide range of pharmacy and healthcare services, including those that promote equitable access to care for the nation's medically underserved populations.JobResponsibilities: As a Data Scientist – RWE, you will be responsible for: * Providing standardized, analysis-ready patient cohorts from in-house data properties or certified systems, examining and interpreting results, and assisting in developing analytics strategy * Partnering with other members of the arenaflex Clinical Trial team to provide actionable insights from real-world, medical, and other data assets to support biopharmaceutical RWE and medical trial requests * Cleaning, transforming, and storing data into an integrated data lake for future analysis and broader team consumption * Performing data mining and statistical analysis to investigate RWE/RWD to identify new insights concerning patient populations and treatment results * Supporting the development of real-world data, analytics, and platform capabilities, applying advanced analytics and tools to address medical questions from biopharmaceutical companies * Collaborating on the design and execution of results reports research * Ensuring high-quality, rigorous, and easily interpretable deliverables from RWE research and analyses * Building dashboards, analytics, and reports for internal and external consumption * Conducting due diligence on new real-world data companies and performing RWD quality tests to inform investment decisions EssentialQualifications: * Bachelor's degree or graduate degree and a minimum of four years of experience in a quantitative or computational function * Four years of experience in R, Python, or SQL * Experience in designing and executing strong and reproducible statistical analyses within the context of epidemiology and observational studies with healthcare data * Knowledge of common statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, classification and discrimination, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis * Experience processing large data from diverse data sources * Experience handling protected patient health data * Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other business intelligence tools PreferredQualifications: * Ph.D., Master's degree in statistics/biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field * Expertise in EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and claims databases * Expertise in clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and managed vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode) * Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for real-world evidence research or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR) * Experience working on alternative data sources and alternative methods of healthcare data collection, particularly those enabled by technology systems and/or solutions * Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics * Understanding of data and systems learning techniques, ability to maintain self-learning of technical and non-technical skillsBenefits: * Company-Paid Life Insurance * Medical, Prescription Drugs, Dental, and Vision * Retirement Savings Plan – 401(k) * Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Paid Time Off (PTO) * Holidays * Paid Parental Leave (PPL) * Transportation Benefit Plan * Employee Store Discount * Voluntary Life & Personal Accident InsuranceWhy Join arenaflex?* Opportunity to work with a leading healthcare, pharmacy, and retail company with a 170-year history of caring for communities * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a team of experienced professionals * Comprehensive benefits package, including company-paid life insurance, medical, prescription drugs, dental, and vision * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options : If you are a motivated and experienced data scientist looking for a new challenge, please including your resume and cover letter, to.We look forward to hearing from you!
