Income Tax Analyst

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Income Tax Analyst to assist with the preparation of the company's income tax provision and federal and state returns. The role involves reviewing tax ledgers, preparing monthly tax journal entries, and conducting tax research to support planning efforts.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review various components of the tax provision and ensure that all income tax related accounts are recorded accurately and in accordance with FASB and tax-related SEC disclosure guidanceAssist with preparation of federal tax return and state tax returnsAssist in reviewing federal and state fixed asset tax ledgers, estimating quarterly CapEx depreciation, and preparing Forms 4562 and 4797Prepare the tax inventory calculation, which includes computing UNICAP and the tax cost complementAssist with the preparation of monthly tax entriesConduct tax research and support planning efforts to minimize taxRespond to notices, conducts research and ensures accuracy of all income tax notices.
