As a Lead Information Researcher, you will be responsible for driving data science initiatives that drive business productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement data science solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior data scientists and collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement data science solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * **30% Arrangement Improvement**: Use your expertise to plan and develop algorithms and models to analyze large datasets and drive business insights. Make informed decisions, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and drive business outcomes through data-driven insights. * **25% Project Management and Team Support**: Lead and manage large and complex projects, prioritize work, and ensure high-quality deliverables. Provide guidance and training to junior data scientists to enhance their skills and capabilities. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects and resources, and support the selection and recruitment process for the team. * **20% Business Collaboration**: Influence business decisions through data-driven insights, foster trust and collaboration with internal clients and cross-functional teams, and provide training on advanced analytics to the data science community. Collaborate with IT to stay up-to-date with new tools and technologies, and identify opportunities to leverage data science as a competitive advantage. * **25% Technical Research and Development**: Stay up-to-date with key advancements in data science by attending conferences and publishing papers. Participate in the continuous development of data science and analytics by creating reusable solutions (e.g., data products, project documentation, process flowcharts) to ensure that solutions are used for future projects. Define best practices and develop a clear vision for data analysis and model productionalization. **Direct Supervisor/Direct Reports** This position reports to a senior administrator or above. This position has 0 direct reports and leads/oversees projects. **Travel Requirements** Occasional travel under 10% of the time is required. **Physical Requirements** Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, and there is continuous opportunity to move about. Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light objects. **Working Conditions** Located in a comfortable indoor environment.
